It’s Friday? No it’s Sunday, it’s Sunday!!! hold up I’m getting all of my days mixed up. If this is happening to you then you’re not alone. COVID, quarantining, and isolation is making the days mesh all together.
There are days that I just don’t want to cook so I’ll throw a jacket over my stay at home uniform: leggins, fitted blouse, no bra, socks, and sneakers and then I drive to a drive-thru to get a quick meal. If it’s raining outside or the sun decides to rest for the day I’m ordering in because I just don’t feel like it.
Even when I do feel like being cute the clothes are uncomfortable because well it’s not my stay at home uniform. What is life going to be like when we have to go back to wearing bras and clothes that match? I’m going to have to do my hair on a daily basis, and be amongst people, ewww gross.
When you’re a mom you have to be on, but that’s getting better because my boys are getting older. I don’t have to check on them every 15 minutes. When it gets quiet I still get up to investigate, they’re still in their single digits.
Do you think you’ll be able to adjust to life after COVID? What are you excited about? Do you have any anxieties? What do you look forward to doing?
